Bellafronte is a fairy-tale. A grotesque and poetic tale, that maybe wants just to give an answer to the ancient question about the meaning of 'love', about the inextricable link between 'loving' and 'to be loved'. In its deeper sense, however, it's a strange metaphor, able to relate the courage needed to love someone and the life of mere mortals, with its huge and incessant passions.
