Reeling from a recent tragedy, Maya is a young woman who suffers from sleep paralysis and is haunted by strange beings, including a mysterious girl with whom she feels a strong emotional affinity. Troubled by these visions, Maya seeks answers for what she is experiencing, but soon discovers that reality is not all that it seems to be, and that dreams may not merely be just dreams.
