Bears in the wild can only be found in a few regions of Europe, for example in the Carpathians and the Hohe Tatra. Vaclav "Vasek" Chaloupek is a well -known Czech animal photographer and animal filmmaker. He lives in the Bohemian Forest and has always surrounded himself with some animal companions. When a friendly forester brings him the Bären orphan Lilly and Ben, he does not hesitate: Vasek will take care of the bear twins as a "replacement mom" and thus give them a future perspective. The animal reporter Paula actively supports him. Vasek and Paula will soon be perfectly recorded bear parents. Give the vials, wipe away the pee, endure loud hunger shouting ... which is part of a baby care. In fact, the bear babies develop splendidly. Lilly and Ben grow quickly, are healthy and learn to run quickly. After 54 days they leave Vasek's house, their replacement cavity, and stroll through the Bohemian Forest. On their daily hours of walks with Vasek and Paula, they meet other animals. This creates exciting, but also bizarre situations that the bear parents always surprise. Since there is a lot to discover in nature and there are many adventures to master, boredom never arises. However, a big concern remains: will the bears be able to survive on nature later or must they be kept in an enclosure? It soon turns out that a life in freedom would be too dangerous for Lilly and Ben. The two peters are shaped on humans and are no longer afraid of them. But Vasek and Paula find a perfect solution .
