Tangewadi is renamed as Bangdewadi as Sundara Bai Kasar and her son are known to punish village males by putting bangles in their hands for not doing their work or owing money to them.They are so strict that village heads like Police Patil and Sarpanch don't dare to go on their way ,the village also has a former Tamasha dancer a wealthy Lanka Inamdar who was provided shelter by Sundrabai 20 years ago when her lover Baba Inamdar was killed.Police Patil and Sarpanch eye her wealth but don't dare to go her way due to Sundrabai,Lanka's daughter Damyayanti returns to village from America.Damyanti and Shankar bond well and he introduces her to village ,she finds that her father Baba Inmadar was killed and asks Shankar to stand up in the upcoming village elections in order to find the killer of her father.
