Contented barrio lass Salve is married to aspiring politician Alfred. Alfred meets Via and finds out that they can be very useful to each other's lives; he is set on pursuing a political career, and she is from a powerful political family who wants to continue to govern the land. Together, Albert and Via plan a scheme to get rid of Salve, but she survives--and takes revenge.
