At age 18, Jacob Bodhie joined the U.S. Army National Guard, hoping to achieve some sort of greatness. When he is unexpectedly sent to Iraq, he quickly realizes that the National Guard is not everything he thought it would be and finds a way back home. Along with his best friend Alfeo and his unhappy ex-girlfriend Natalie, Jacob finds a way to get away from war and never go back.
