When Erica's husband, Seth, died in the service she moved away to Chicago to get away and start new. Now, three years later, she returns back home with her new boyfriend, Marc, to be brides maid on her sisters wedding. Her sister and her fiance has very different views on how the wedding should be and Erica and the best man, Nate, has to figure out how to solve all the practical stuff. At the same time Erica has to handle old feelings of grief after Seth but also unresolved issues with Nate who used to be their best friend.
