Angel Ariel falls to Earth and takes over a woman's body after a fatal accident. She "downloads" her memories, her habits and her stories. Ariel learns that the woman lived life to the fullest. She was a crime scene investigator who had a great thirst for truth. She also had broken up with her boyfriend who rejected her proposal to get married. Just as they were reconciling, she had a motorcycle accident and died. Ariel studies how a human being functions, and can't help but want to intervene and "repair" some of them. The angel Gabriel comes to remind Ariel of her true purpose. Ariel realizes she's becoming influenced by the woman's memories, but still has to find a way to accomplish her intended mission. Her first case presents itself: Liz, an old woman whose time to die is near. Liz helps Ariel understand the meaning of life and unconditional love while Ariel helps Liz to heal the pain in her heart caused by her deepest regret. Ariel leads Liz to reunite with her long lost daughter. Meanwhile Ariel travels throughout the world learning about her own humanity and love. A few years later, Ariel comes back to accompany Liz on her new journey ...
