Religious angle gives a twist to a yarn about villagers construing an abandoned mine's gold as a miracle. John Carroll, Adele Mara, Thomas Gomez. Max: Barton MacLane.

Ex-con Carroll uses a Mexican mine as a cover in his plan to filter out gold hidden away from a past robbery. Carroll has a change of heart when the local villagers look at his success with the mine as a message from God. Prolific and talented director Dwan does a nice job with this simple uplifting tale.
