Rena (Jena Malone) is a 15 year old girl who lives with her young mother, her brother Jay and her sister Barbie in a trailer park. When Rena gets pregnant by a boy from her school, she goes to tell her father (Chris Mulkey) who is prison for killing two men in a fight. But everything that is possible goes wrong.
