On December 23rd, you can meet Santa Claus anywhere - even on the Berlin-Bavaria long-distance bus. However, despite his Santa Claus hat, the driver Robert does not promise to bring any presents. The best present is the 25-year-old Felix, a new Berliner, who is driving to his family and girlfriend in snowy Mittenwald. His seatmate Hanna, who wants to spend Christmas with her grandmother in Mittenwald, dumps her lover just before departure. On the journey, she starts a flirtation with long-term partner Felix, who does not fit into her freedom-loving pattern at all, and neither of them can get it out of their heads. When they meet again on the pre-Christmas journey home in the following years, he is still in a relationship - but strangely enough, he is still not engaged. Kathrin also regularly travels to Christmas in Robert's bus with her son Elias, who has a heart condition. The single mother has long since lost faith in love.
