With the popularity of the James Bond films and the spy parody IN LIKE FLINT, spy spoofs surged in the mid-60s. A MAN CALLED DAGGER, like most of the bunch, was a lesser effort. Mantee, the secret agent with a laser-beam wristwatch and other implausible gadgets, chases after Murray, an ex-Nazi concentration camp commandant. Assisted by coagent Moore, Mantee prevents the former SS colonel from brainwashing world leaders.
