Adoptee Chelsea works as a dance instructor. Guided by an old photograph of her relatively-unknown mother, she travels to the small European kingdom of Havenshire in search of her mysterious father and her roots. Upon arriving, she wishes to visit the library, but the entire area is closed off because of preparations for the upcoming royal ball. However, the royal household is seeking a dance instructor to teach Prince Phillip the crucial waltz he must perform at the ball with the one he chooses to marry. Seeing an opportunity to access the library and uncover her roots, Chelsea accepts the assignment.
