Former military officer Anoop currently helps blind shopkeeper Bhasi in running his shop and is devoted to his fiancée Manju, who recently accepted a job as a teacher at the local government school opposite the shop. Fishermen Mathachan and his son Winston survive a storm in the sea and reach the shore. Nixon, Mathachan' other son, is away from the family fishing business and doing modeling; he is also in love with Jiji, daughter of businessman Chandy. Anoop's friend Rameshan, who works in Abu Dhabi, is a conflicted man who returns home to be with his wife despite not being in good terms with her.
