• Chosen as one of the few newcomers to be showcased at GenArt's Fresh Faces in Fashion in 2001
• Awarded the Swarovski's Perry Ellis Award in womenswear in 2004 which was given out by the Council of Fashion Designers of America
• Studied womenswear at the University of Arts London
