• He graduated from the Canterbury High School of the Arts in Ottawa and obtained a bachelor’s degree in theater performance from Concordia University in Montreal
• He was born in Canada from Indian parents and is the brother of Sidharth Sahay, who taught him classical traditional Indian dancing
