• Earned his degree in marketing from Boston College, where he played for the Boston College Eagles football team
• In his senior year of playing high school football, the "Boston Globe" and "Boston Herald" both named him Player of the Year, he earned All-American honors from "USA Today" and he was designated the Gatorade New England Player of the Year
• Began his career as a sports analyst and announcer in 2007, starting out by announcing the September 23, 2007 Arizona Cardinals-Baltimore Ravens game on Fox and moving on to work for ESPN
• Has played professional football for the Philadelphia Eagles, the Washington Redskins, the New York Giants and the Arizona Cardinals
• In 1997, he was an orientation leader for Boston College's First-Year Experience program
