• Was nominated for a CableACE Award for comedy series for "The State" in 1995
• Met friend and future comic Kerri Kenney at theater camp at age 16 and later the two would go on to join New York University's New Group together
• Appeared in the short film "Aisle Six" in 1992, a student film directed by future collaborator David Wain
