• Involved in the humanitarian causes of Armenia across the world, hosting and participating in numerous charitable events, and was a member of French President Jacques Chirac's delegation to Armenia in 2006
• Joined an Armenian theater company after moving to Los Angeles, but returned to his home in France soon after, then settling in Paris
• Went to New York at a young age to continue his study of dance and acting before moving to Los Angeles
• While in Paris, took classes at the Acting International School and joined an avant-garde theater company
• Landed his first film roles when French filmmaker Cedric Klapisch asked him to star in several of his movies
• Best known for playing the roles of villain Alex Dimitrios in the 2006 James Bond film "Casino Royale," and as the voice of Mr․ Satrapi in the 2007 foreign film "Persepolis․"
• Grew up speaking French, Armenian and English
• Taught at the Conservatoire National Supérieur d'Art Dramatique in Paris
