• Won a Magnolia Independent Film Festival Award, and was nominated for a Breckenridge Festival of Film Award and a SoHo International Film Festival Award, for "Close-Up" in 2011
• Met Bam Margera at age 15 on his first day of high school and they, along with a group of their friends, formed the CKY Crew, becoming a hit in Philadelphia underground skateboarding circles for their stunts
• Met Johnny Knoxville, a friend of Bam Margera's who was looking to start a new MTV show, in 1999
• Was working as a welder and gas station attendant when "Jackass" premiered in 2000
• His role on the "Jackass" show often involved him as the voice of reason for his co-stars, except when a fast car was involved
