• Earned the Gold Logie Award for "Most Popular Personality" several years running beginning in 2000
• In 2012, he was nominated for his first Astra Award
• Previously served on the board of the conservation non-profit, Fauna & Flora International
• After starting out on a university-owned affiliate, he would eventually land his first network gig in 2000 with Network Ten in his native Australia
• Made his hosting debut in the United States on ABC's "The List" in 2008
• Relocated to Los Angeles in 2011 to pursue American hosting and producing opportunities
• Continues to travel across the globe to perform live stand-up routines including gigs at the Just For Laughs Festival each year
• After years of performing stand-up, his first opportunity in television would come with a late night talk show in the late '90s that had a $500/ a week budget
