• Graduated from Goddard College with a degree in Theater at age 20
• She was diagnosed with Guillian-Barré syndrome in 1982, which motivated her to star as Gabriela Brimmer, a disabilities activist, in the 1987 film "Gaby: A True Story․"
• Her first performance was with an Israeli folk dance troupe at age 13 at Carnegie Hall
• Joined a theater group for young adults as her starting point to reaching her goal of becoming an actress
