• At the 2010 Big Island Film Festival, he was presented the Spirit of Hawaii Award by Mayor Billy Kenoi
• Graduated and attended The Kamehameha Schools at Kapalama
• Graduated Magna Cum Laude from Hawaii Pacific College with a business degree in entrepreneurial studies
• At the age of 12, he began playing the ukulele with Ka Hale Hula O Keko'olani and carried on at school in band, orchestra and concert glee
• Studied the Hawaiian steel guitar with Jerry Byrd and later performed with him in Japan
• Has headed the production company, Hollywood Brown Entertainment, which produces live Polynesian show productions and island contemporary music
• Is a Hawaiian Emcee and entertainer, performing private Lu'au shows for such people as the Imperial Family of Japan, Joe Namath and Steven Spielberg
• Studied improv with Roger Wilko, method acting with Scott Rogers, and the energy of acting with Cary-Hiroyuki Tagawa
