• Following a brief hiatus from stage work, she began appearing once again on Broadway in the late '90s with several shows including Neil Simon's "The Dinner Party" for which she earned a Tony nomination
• After appearing in numerous Broadway productions with supporting roles, she would gain critical acclaim following her stint in "Applause" alongside co-star Lauren Bacall
• Transitioned to Hollywood roles after more than 20 years in New York, where she would go on to appear in multiple made-for-television films adapted from stage productions including "Cat On A Hot Tin Roof" and others
• Made her Broadway debut in 1962, where she quickly gained widespread acclaim after securing more well-known roles in productions of "Cabaret", "Corrie" and "Barefoot in the Park"
