• In 2012, she was nominated for an Art Director's Guild Award for Excellence in Production Design for "Cinema Verite․"
• Was nominated for an Art Director's Guild Award for her work on the film "Recount․"
• Earned her Master's Degree in Fine Art and uses the artistry she studies in her film design
• Originally intended to be an architect, but ended up taking up sculpture and video instead, becoming a well-known media artist
• Started her career designing title sequences, notably the one for "Bound" and the slide show scene in "Jurassic Park․"
• Realized that production design incorporated all of her interests in 1993 when a friend asked her to design a set
• Her work explores spatial articulation and its implication on bodies, the nature of Realism Expressionism and creating conceptual forms that unfold over time
• First became known for her spare, moody design for the film "Memento․"
