Fast Facts

• Attended the Edinboro University of Pennsylvania
• Is the youngest of seven children
• Started his career as a member of the cover band Rogues Gallery in the late '80s
• Relocated to California in 1993, where he would soon meet future band mate Rob Hotchkiss

• Officially became the lead vocalist of Train in 1994 and would go on to record multiple platinum albums with the group for over 20 years
• Released his first solo album, Last of Seven, in 2007 while Train took a voluntary hiatus
• He wrote the Grammy-winning song "Drops of Jupiter (Tell Me)" as a tribute to his late mother after she passed away from cancer
• Performed as the lead singer for The Hollies in 2010 at the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame Induction Ceremony
