• Originally wanted to get into fashion merchandising, but decided she'd rather work in the film industry after talking to some friends who were in working in television
• Her first job in the industry was assistant to the talent coordinator on "The John Davidson Show․"
• Her first shot at directing came from producer Peter Noah, whom she had worked with on "Dream House," to direct an episode of the sitcom "Café Americain․"
