• Best known for performing the recurring character of the director in the comedy television series “Jane the Virgin” from 2015 to 2018
• She obtained a bachelor’s degree in psychology from the University of Puerto Rico, completed a year of clinical psychology at Albizu University, and obtained a master’s degree in communications from the University of Georgia
• Her family is of Puerto Rican and Spanish origins, and since her father Juan Arturo Maldonado was in the United States Air Force, she moved frequently during her childhood and learned to adapt to many situations, an asset in the artistic world
• She performed the character of Delores Recinos in the episode “Red Dawn” of the police procedural television series “The Mentalist” in 2012
