• Was a finalist to win Best Male Voice in the 2009 Voicey Awards
• Won a Lotus Award every year from 2005-2008, including three straight for Best Radio Commercial
• While completing high school in Ontario, he taught a Theatre Arts class for two years in an after school program for middle school children
• While studying at the University of Victoria in Canada, he performed in several productions for The Beacon Hill Theatre Company

• When he moved to British Columbia to study Performing Arts at the University of Victoria in 1979, he became a regular voice actor for several local ads on TV and radio stations
• Later in his life, he worked with the children's theatre company, The Performers for Literacy, to promote literacy amongst young people
