• Attended Georgia State University in her adopted hometown of Atlanta, studying theater
• After seeing Sigourney Weaver in "Alien" as a child, she decided that she wanted to be an alien
• Was active during her high school years, participating in the swim team, being selected as prom queen, working as the yearbook editor, and being elected senior class president
• Alongside Kenny Alfonso, she was the co-owner of "The Goods Inc․"
• After college, she spent three years working with Atlanta's CBS affiliate as an assignment editor, spending time doing commercials and films when she could find the work
• Has worked as the co-spokesperson for S&K Menswear
• First began watching "The Walking Dead" to support her friend Melissa McBride, who plays Carol, but later she landed the part of Karen on the show
