• Co-wrote the pilot "Gentrification" in 2010 which would eventually go on to win an award at the Comedy Central New York Television Festival
• Graduated from the University of Michigan with a bachelor's degree in theatre
• Made his screen acting debut in the TV series "Saved by the Bell: The College Years" in 1993
• Originally a stage actor, he got his start at Jeff Daniels' theatre company in Chelsea, Michigan, after landing a part in his play, The Tropic Pickle
