• Earned his first World Heavyweight Championship in 2007 at WrestleMania 23
• Donated a large sum of money to Texas A&M's College of Vet Medicine to establish the Zeus Compton Calaway Save the Animals Fund, which helps pay for life-saving procedures for large dogs
• Attended Texas Wesleyan University, where he played for the school's basketball team
