• A longtime supporter of the Gay Men's Health Crisis non-profit, she raised over $100,000 for the organization while competing on "Celebrity Apprentice 5"
• Studied journalism at both Boston College as well as Syracuse University
• Began her career as a journalist for Popular Mechanics and later Rolling Stone before eventually transitioning to stand-up in the early '90s
