• Has done charity work for numerous organizations, including AIDS Project Los Angeles, Christopher Reeve Paralysis Foundation and the Haven House
• Became the first, and at the time only, foreigner to train at the Toho Geino Academy in Japan
• Was tutored by Marguerite Beale in England following her time at Finch College
• Moved to Japan with her family at the age of 5 and performed at the Imperial Theatre in Tokyo
• Made her screen acting debut in the film "Time Travelers" in 1966
• Best known for her role as Charlene Matlock in "Matlock" and as Sheila Munroe in "Visiting Hours․"
• Launched a jazz music career after leaving "Matlock" and has released several albums
• Played two different roles within a single TV series on "Happy Days," playing Richie's girlfriend, Gloria, in season two, and Ashley Pfister in season 10
• Was signed on for a role in "The Guiding Light" while still in high school
