• Trained as an actor at the Guildhall School of Music and Drama, although he didn't graduate because he was offered the role of Nic York in "Holby City․"
• Made his acting debut on the TV series "Holby City" in 2003
• The first role he performed in was a munchkin in a local production of "The Wizard of Oz․"
• Was sent to musical theater classes by his mother in his youth in order to get him out of the house
• Quote: "I could hold a note but I wouldn't say I'm a singer and now it makes me incredibly nervous․ Give me words to say and put me on a stage or in front of a camera and I might just about hold my own․"
