Fast Facts

• Attended the University of Southern California, majoring in communications, as well as El Camino College, at which she made the Dean’s list and wrote for the college newspaper, "The Warwhoop․"
• Started working at KCOP-TV as a desk assistant before becoming an anchor and reporter at KTVK-TV
• Has appeared in numerous films such as "The Longest Yard," "Batman Begins," and "Fight Club," as well as appearing on TV series "NCIS" and "Days of Our Lives․"
• In 2005 she was the original of "So You Think You Can Dance," but left after one season to have her second child
• Loves to run and in 2005 she completed her first Boston Marathon
• Was a reporter on "Extra" from 1997 to 2000, and returned to the show in 2009 for a year as the weekend anchor and special correspondent
