• After finishing filming for the ABC Family series "Kyle XY" in 2008, Prout attended McGill University for a degree in English Literature
• Started her acting career at the age of 10, mostly working locally in the Vancouver area where she lived
• Feature film debut was in the 2005 film "Elektra․"
• At a young age, parents enrolled her in acting and martial arts classes to get her to come out of her shell
• First acting job was as the lead in a TV commercial for Trans Alta with hockey player Wayne Gretzky
• Has appeared in radio commercials for Sunrype Principal U․S․ National, Columbia Bank Principal U․S․ National and M․C․ Housing Principal U․S․ Regional
• Performed her own stunts in "Elektra," also holding a red belt in taekwondo
