• Won a Documentary Director award at the 1998 International Monitor Awards for "To the Galaxy and Beyond with Mark Hamill․"
• Graduated from Hamilton College with honors in 1977, majoring in History and English Literature, and went on to complete his graduate work at Boston University
• Taught film production at Boston University after graduating from the institution and headed a school program that let students produce commercials, PSAs, documentaries and other projects for real-world clients
• Created Prometheus Entertainment, which specializes in producing documentaries, reality programming and non-fiction programming, as well as specials
• Teamed with film executive Jon Jashni to pursue their shared interest in the films of producer Irwin Allen, developing and producing remakes of and sequels to his works
• Broke the world record for owning the largest collection of memorabilia from "The Munsters․"
