• Along with a friend, he started a fund to help underprivileged theater students attend college called the Jerry P․ Worsham scholarship fund
• Spent his college years at the University of Texas in Austin
• Sold most of his belongings in order to raise the money to move to Los Angeles and chase his dreams of acting

• Some of his best known roles are as Nate Moretta, Detective Bryant's former partner, in "Southland" and the supernatural nurse Jesus Velasquez in "True Blood․"
