• Once served on the board of the Screen Actors Guild
• Drama student at HB Studio in Greenwich Village in NYC
• Began her career in Dallas as a member of the Margo Jones Theatre before pursuing local film productions that were shooting in town before relocating to Los Angeles

• Initially interested in stage work, she transitioned to film in the late '60s and gained widespread acclaim for her work in 1970's "Joe" as the wife of Peter Boyle's character
• While not appearing on screen, she enjoys writing entertainment industry based reference books including "How to Sell Yourself as an Actor", "Directing Your Directing Career" and many others
