• He and Sam Reed won an award for best animated comedy at the 2005 Dragoncon Short Film Festival for "Rattus Pistofficus․"
• Stated that upon hearing that one of his and his partners' projects had won a Silver Promax in Hong Kong, he was outraged at being second place until he found out that another of their projects had won the Gold Promax
