• When her first single, Leave (Get Out), was released in 2004, she became the youngest solo artist to have a number-one single in the United States at 14-years-old
• Introduced to music at church, she would begin her career by practicing hymns and listening to jazz and soul artists including Etta James, Aretha Franklin and many others
