  • Began his career as a stand-up comedian in venues throughout his native Texas including venues in Dallas and Austin

  • Got his start in the entertainment industry after being noticed by television executive Brandon Tartikoff at the 1995 Montreal Comedy Festival
  • Began voicing the role of Dale Gribble following three weeks of intensive auditions after executives were unable to reach a salary agreement with the character's original voice actor, Daniel Stern
