  • Transitioned to television after guest starring on numerous series before landing a lead role on "The Bold Ones: The New Doctors" for several seasons beginning in 1969
  • Has gone to be a favorite in the horror genre in the latter half of his career after appearing in numerous sequels for "A Nightmare on Elm Street"
  • A black belt in karate at the time, he accepted the role of Roper in 1973's "Enter the Dragon" after the studio's first choice of Rod Taylor was deemed too tall for the action scenes
