• Graduated from Harvard University, which he attended on scholarship, in 1977
• Was obsessed with the stock market from a young age, but hid his talent for picking profitable stocks because his father wasn't very good at playing the market
• His first job was as a general reporter for the Tallahassee Democrat, where he gained notoriety for being the first to cover the Ted Bundy murders, which happened only a couple of blocks from where he lived
• He earned a law degree from Harvard University with the intent of becoming a prosecutor, but instead he began a summer program at Goldman Sachs on the day after his bar exam in 1984
• Best known as the host of the Wall Street investing show "Mad Money․"
• Co-founder of TheStreet․com, a website dedicated to stock quotes and investor predictions
• Founder and former owner and senior partner of Cramer Berkowitz, from which he retired in 2001 with one of the best records in the investment business
• Has authored five books about the stock market and the economy, as well as an autobiography
• He played himself in the 2008 film "Iron Man" and a 2013 episode of "Arrested Development," and also appeared as a newscaster in the 2010 film "Wall Street: Money Never Sleeps․"
• He uses a variety of sound effects on his show "Mad Money" and answers viewers' phone calls with the catchphrase "Booyah," leading Dan Rather to call him "the Jerry Lewis of business-show hosts․"
