• Nominated for a Student Academy Award for her work on a documentary she produced in college
• Began her college education at the University of Minnesota, but eventually graduated from Hunter College
• Best known for portraying the role of Opal Cortlandt on "All My Children" which she landed in 1988
• Made her Broadway debut in 1987's "Death and the King's Horseman"
• Started her career in entertainment as a singer that would provide background vocals for Hollywood films before eventually turning to on-screen opportunities herself after modeling for a short period in Europe in the '60s
• Attended high school with Dorothy Lyman who would portray Opal on "All My Children" before Larson took over in 1988
