• Won the producers choice award and the student animator award for "The Naive Man from Loliland" at the 2005 Nicktoons Film Festival
• Graduated from the California Institute of the Arts with a degree in character animation
• Began professional career as an intern and storyboard revisionist for Cartoon Network's "Camp Lazlo!" and later pitched "Regular Show" to the network
