Fast Facts

• Attended South Plains College in Levelland, Texas
• Began writing songs and performing in local talent shows as early as eight-years-old
• After signing with Brad Paisley's Arista Nashville label, he would release his first studio-produced album, Judge Jerrod & the Hung Jury, in 2010
• Released his debut solo album, Long Hard Road, in 1999
• After relocating to Nashville following the release of his self-published album, he would sign a developmental deal with Mercury Records in 2001
• Signed with Category 5 Records in 2006, eventually releasing a chart-topping hit with the label, however, the company would fold shortly before the release of his first album
• As a child, he learned to play on a guitar signed by Tracy Lawrence
