Jennifer Nettles Biography

• Donated money from her concert ticket sales to The Shalom Foundation, an organization dedicated to providing health care, nutrition, housing and education to the people of Guatemala
• Has supported the non-profit organization Attic Community Playground, which supports performing arts programs for students
• Graduated from Agnes Scott College, where she studied sociology and anthropology, in 1997
• Formed the Jennifer Nettles Band in 1999, which released several albums and won the grand prize in Mars Music's "The Big Deal $100,000 Music Search․"
