Jeff Bergman Biography

• Graduated from the University of Pittsburgh with a degree in theater and communications in 1983
• Worked as an intern at the KQV and WDVE radio stations
• Was involved with the student-run radio station at the University of Pittsburgh during his time there
• A cameo appearance as the voice of Bugs Bunny on "Saturday Night Live" in 2003 jumpstarted a new wave of him voicing classic Looney Tunes characters after a long absence
• Was the first person to voice Bugs Bunny after Mel Blanc's death, debuting in the short "Box Office Bunny" as not only Bugs, but also Daffy Duck and Elmer Fudd
• Mel Blanc died on Jeff Bergman's birthday, eight years after the two met
• After Mel Blanc gave a lecture at his college, he knocked on his hotel door and the original voice of Bugs Bunny greeted him in his bathrobe and gave him advice about his education and career
